In the event of a crisis, public safety personnel and first responders require reliable emergency responder radio coverage. Being able to communicate with their public safety two-way radio systems in buildings is crucial for first responders to execute time-sensitive and mission-critical tasks to protect themselves, and the public. Emergency Responder Communications Enhancement Systems (ERCES) are often installed to provide these necessary means of communication.

Over the years, public safety communications have evolved from simple ﬁre call boxes to analog land mobile radios (LMR), to digital LMRs and trunked radio systems. Today the evolution continues with a shift to multi-mode communications combining LTE, data communications such as email, apps, and VoIP, and IoT, enabling new technical appliances such as sensors, infrared, location mapping, and drones. These new technologies can provide signiﬁcant value for ﬁrst responders yet without the right communications network in place, they are simply not available.

Andrew has over 30 years of professional experience in the telecommunications industry. Andrew has led multi-million dollar mobile network infrastructure projects from development to deployment for major telecom carriers and large enterprise customers around the world.

Andrew has held key leadership roles at Dali Wireless, Star Solutions, UTStarcom and Nortel spanning R&D, system integration and operations. Andrew received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia.

Rachele has over 10 years of experience leading, developing, and executing global marketing strategies in the technology industry.
Prior to Avari Wireless Rachele held key leadership roles at Intrinsyc Technologies and Lantronix, building brand awareness and positioning by developing successful brand strategies on a global scale.
She has also worked on executing collaborative marketing strategies with major technology players such as Qualcomm Technologies.
Rachele received her Bachelor of Business Administration and major in Marketing at United International Business Schools ( UIBS ) in Zurich, Switzerland, where she lived aboard for over 5 years.

Andrew Leung

Basem is a Senior Executive with extensive global telecom experience.

Basem is most recently the COO at Dali Wireless. He leads global sales, business development, operations, and strategic technology and commercial partnerships.

Prior to this, he held several executive and operational roles at TE Connectivity, Powerwave Technologies and ADC Telecommunications.

Basem holds an Executive MBA in Global Business from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama.

Law Fook is a telecommunications industry professional with extensive experience in wireless infrastructure, in-building coverage and mission-critical communications. Throughout his career, he has held senior sales and business development roles, working with customers, partners and technology providers across the Asia-Pacific region.

His experience spans across public-safety, rails, tunnels and transport communication systems, including major infrastructure projects in Australia. Law combines strong industry knowledge with practical commercial expertise, focusing on developing trusted partnerships and delivering reliable wireless solutions for complex, mission-critical environments.

Tom is a senior telecoms executive with over 30+ years of experience in managing wireless sales channels.

Tom has held various strategic leadership positions in Global Sales Management, and Business Development with a specific focus on advanced RF solutions including DAS.

For the past 20+ years, Tom has focused on providing leading DAS solutions for Mission Critical Public Safety and LMR applications, with direct involvement in both technology development and consultative sales process in large complex system deployments.

Tom received his B.Sc. from the University of Toronto.
